LIP BLUSH tattoo

Lip blush is a form of permanent cosmetic tattoo. It can help define your existing shape and enhance its natural color. Lips that are a bit asymmetric, or pale can greatly benefit from this treatment. The style that I perform has no line of demarcation on the borders, giving your lips a natural flush of color. Lip Blush is the only way to correct/alter the colour of your natural lips.

*Please note that this technique is meant to leave the lips with a translucent layer of colour and not meant to be opaque like a lipstick. They always fade about 50% lighter once healed.

• If you under 18 years of age
• If you develop infections easily
• If you have severe wrinkles in the lip
• If your natural lips have extreme hyperpigmentation
• If you have been on Accutane within the past year
• If you have HIV or Hepatitis or any other infectious or viral diseases
• If you are Epileptic
• If you are a smoker (vaping is acceptable)
• If you are undergoing chemotherapy
• If you are currently breastfeeding or pregnant
• If you are taking any blood thinners
• If you taking medications that may affect how your skin responds to blood clotting and healing

LIP NEUTRALIZATION

The process for this is different from regular lip blush. The first session is pure neutralization meaning we will use the colours that range anywhere from pure orange / yellow (for extreme darkness) , or orange-red (moderate darkness) and peach/coral (for light darkess). This will be determined in person once we see your lips.

The goal for neutralization is to heal back to a natural pink (a blank canvas) before we apply the desired colour on for you. If neutralization is not done, then the dark areas of your lips will heal darker.

Lip Neutralization can take multiple sessions to lighten. If you expect perfection after one session, then this isn’t for you. This requires patience and trusting the process.

The second session could either be another full neutralization or a semi meaning half neutralization colours and half target colour. This will all depend on how your lips have healed after 8 weeks.

We will not take you any earlier than 7-8 weeks for dark lip neutralization.

For severe darkness in lips, we will not take you until 12 weeks.

We are artists, not magicians. We cannot predict or guarantee you perfect results. Everyone’s lips heal and take pigment differently.

FOR CLIENTS WANTING LIP BLUSH SERVICE - If you are prone to cold sores, you MUST see your doctor for anti-viral medications (Valtrex) to take 5 days prior to your appointment and 5 after to avoid an outbreak which can affect the healing process and results. NO EXCEPTIONS. We highly recommend you to take anti viral and Lysine which is a supplement even if you have no history of cold sores to prevent an outbreak.
